I don't mean, does the paint go on differently? I mean, do you want to spend less time in the studio if the studio is FREEZING cold? Answer: yes. I have heat only in a smaller office, and I have to close off the door to the warehouse. I determined if I used watercolor today, then I could have the heat on less and leave earlier. Not to be a slacker, but it did get down to 28 degrees last night -- which in Florida is considered pretty cold. I am hardier than that, being from New England, but I realized I had no wintry painting clothing, just shorts and tee shirts. I rustled up a sweatshirt and hustled through my painting. Not ideal, but now I know what I'm up against.
