This Dale Chihuly sculpture is in the atrium of a medical building at UTSW in Dallas. I'm guessing it's 15-20 feet high, orange as a cooked lobster -- cadmium orange, maybe? It is just enormous, with its tentacles reaching out -- but not too far, not in a scary Halloween-type fashion. Organized yet random, organic yet streamlined. A nice balance and a cheery thought for all who enter this cancer treatment center.
